A bursary has been established as a lasting memorial to George MacDonald, dear friend and long-standing and dedicated member of GLACIE.

The George MacDonald Memorial Conference Bursary will provide an individual with the opportunity to attend the GLACIE conference for free, including all sessions and breakfasts/lunches.

Critera for the award are:
1. demonstrated intention to implement cooperative learning in the classroom
2. demonstrated intention to share knowledge and cooperative learning strategies with colleagues
3. demonstrated need for financial support to attend the conference.

Application Process: The bursary candidate should write a proposal of less than 200 words, describing their personal and professional background and addressing the above criteria. The proposal should provide email and telephone contact information, and should be emailed to bursary
