Lakes
Association for
Cooperation
In
Education The members of the Great Lakes Chapter of the International Association for the Study of Cooperation in Education (IASCE) share an interest in cooperative learning: methods of organizing small groups in which students work together to learn.
GLACIE is comprised of a group of educators from the Great Lakes region: our members are enthusiastic advocates of cooperative learning in all levels of classrooms and the community at large.
Our logo is a symbol representing forward thinking and the Great Lakes region that we represent.
Our mission is to promote cooperative learning in classrooms and communities in the Great Lakes region, through workshops, staff development, newsletters and conferences.
